I looked around and all these kids were laughing at him, so I walked up to him and laid down with him. Today he fell to the ground – that’s one of the things he does. ‘There’s a boy in my art class with Tourette’s syndrome that everyone laughs at because he does weird things. Her story started with, ‘Mommy, I made a teacher cry today.’ I don’t know why my first thought was a negative one. ![]() My 12-year-old, Karington, told me her high trumped all others. “On our way home from school my kids and I play the ‘highs and lows game.’ We tell each other our high of the day (best part) and our low (something they would change) of the day. ![]()
